Trailer for The Flowers of War Starring Christian Bale

Here is a trailer from the Chinese film The Flowers of War starring Christian Bale. Based on a true story, the film tells the story of a mortician (Bale) who poses as a priest to protect schoolgirls at a cathedral in Nanking, China, during an invasion by the Japaneses.

The film is directed by Oscar nominee Zhang Yimou. China has entered the film into the Best Foreign Picture category for the Oscars. The film covers a subject matter that still causes trouble between Japan and China: the massacre of Nanking. Take a look:
