Sophia Bush Joins Southern Comfort

One Tree Hill star Sophia Bush is joining the cast of a new sitcom called Southern Discomfort reports the Hollywood Reporter. Sophia Bush will play the daughter of co-stars Don Johnson and Mary Steenburgen in the sitcom. She will play a woman named Haley who returns to her hometown in Texas after graduating from Harvard. We don't yet know what subject Haley obtained her degree in.
One Tree Hill is not over so it will ge the priority for Sophia Bush over Southern Discomfort if there are filming conflicts.
Update: It is not clear what happened to Southern Discomfort. The ABC pilot never aired.
