that the new film, The Omen, may really be cursed.
Liev Schreiber, who stars in the upcoming remake of The Omen, told SCI FI Wire that he had his own encounter with the so-called "Omen curse," which caused him to break a rib during a climactic scene. In the scene, Schreiber's character, Robert Thorn, and a photographer played by David Thewlis are chased through a graveyard by a pair of vicious dogs. "I've always been good with dogs," Schreiber (The Manchurian Candidate) said in an interview.The Omen opens in wide release on -- of course -- 6-6-06.
