Dimension Films to Remake American Werewolf in London Variety reports that Dimension Films plans to remake the film, An American Werewolf in London. Sean and Bryan Furst will produce.
The original 1981 pic was written and directed by John Landis and starred David Naughton, Griffin Dunne and Jenny Agutter. Pic, which won an Oscar for makeup, centers on a college student going on a rampage after surviving an attack by a werewolf on a Yorkshire moor.The Furst brothers are also behind the Daybreakers film which offers a different take on vampire films.
