Covert Affiars Renewed for Second Season Deadline.com reports that USA Networks has picked up Covert Affairs for a second season. The show has had great ratings.
The series starring Piper Perabo has been growing consistently since its July 13 premiere, which drew 4.9 million viewers, 2.104 million of them in the adults 18-49, making Covert Affairs the highest-rated scripted cable premiere this year in the key demographic. It has remained the No.1 cable series of the year among 18-49 (2.52 million).We love Covert Affairs. Piper Perabo is great as the lead and Christopher Gorham is doing a terrific job as Auggie, the agency's blind tech guy, who is good with the ladies. Zap2It has a good write-up on Auggie here.
