Colin Firth Teaches Thugs Some Manners in New Kingsman Trailer

Posted on September 24, 2014

If possible, the second trailer for Kingsman: The Secret Service is even more amazing than the first one. In this clip, Colin Firth forcefully instructs some young ruffians about proper behavior and manners.

We simply cannot wait for this movie to arrive. Based on the popular comic book by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, the film tells the story of a secret spy organization in England which protects the world from evil. Since 1897, the Kingsmen Tailors have lived by a series of maxims which cover everything from their duty to appropriate attire to manners. For example, a Gentleman never reacts to rudeness. He pretends he doesn't recognize it and moves on like it never happened, because it never should have.

Another maxim is illustrated quite nicely in this trailer: a Gentleman is always on target with witty remarks, interesting facts and conversation starters that bring the best out of everyone. Even when he is administered a major ass whupping to the miscreant youths who are bothering him.

Colin Firth is the ultimate Gentleman and he administers said whupping with a minimum of fuss, much to the astonishment of the young man he is recruiting to be a spy. He is always polite, but you really, really don't want to make him mad. Taron Egerton plays a young delinquent who is the son of Firth's character's former partner. Determined to see if he can save the young man from a life of crime he recruits him for the Kingsmen. But it's very, very dangerous and those who don't pass the entrance tests don't make it out in one piece.

The film is directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass, X-Men First Class) and it's clear the action sequences will be amazing. Oh, and Samuel L. Jackson plays the villain. The film will be released on February 13, 2015. This trailer features a new single from Iggy Azalea with Ellie Goulding. Take a look:
