The Stepford Wives

This remake of the 1975 movie, based on Ira Levin's novel is short (only 90 minutes) with a witty and funny screenply. Since most audiences already know the town's deadly secret (and the trailer gives it away), director Frank Oz goes for comedy, instead of the horror of the first film. Christopher Walken and Bette Midler are especially entertaining.
