Alfonso Cuarón knocks it out of the park in his first outing as director of the Harry Potter franchise. Harry, Hermione and Ron are growing up, as are their characters, and Cuarón skillfully draws out their best performances yet. Cuarón makes effective use of music and the outdoor scenes are beautiful. The hippograf is some of the best CGI work on film today -- it's truly amazing. This is an exciting, beautifully-acted, wonderful film.
