Fox Leaves Glee Out of Fall Starting Lineup for 2014-2015

The final season of Glee, season six, has been postponed. Glee normally would have returned this fall, but Fox has postponed the final sixth season until mid-season. The series was averaging only about 2.5 million viewers by the end of season five. This is way down from the 10 to 13 million viewers some episodes received during its peak in seasons 1 and 2.

Glee will return in 2015. Season six was supposed to be 22 episodes long, but The Hollywood Reporter says that may be reduced. The show could end up with only 13 episodes in its final season.
