Fox Releases Trailer for Gotham Series Starring Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon

Fox has released the extended trailer for Gotham, a new series set in the Batman universe. It stars Ben McKenzie as detective James Gordon. Other stars in the series include Donal Logue as detective Harvey Bullock, Sara Paxton as Bette Kane, Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne.

The story follows Gordon's rise in Gotham City. It is set years before Batman arrives. The trailer gives very brief glimpses of the young villains, including Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) and The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith). The series has been picked up for 13 episodes. Take a look:
