Aaron Paul to Play Lead in Need for Speed Movie

DreamWorks Studios has announced that Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) has been announced as the lead in its film Need for Speed. The film has a target production start date for early next year and a theatrical release on February 7, 2014.

George Gatins and John Gatins developed the original story with George writing the screenplay. DreamWorks says the screenplay is based on the Need for Speed video game series from Electronic Arts, but it is not based on an individual game in the series.
