Supermodel Adriana Lima and the Tico Berry

Last week's Ugly Betty had Supermodel Adriana Lima as a guest on the show. Adriana shared her secret passion and beauty secret with Mode - the fictitious Tico berry. Mode calls the Tico berry the "juiciest secret in style" and a "fierce fruit." Adriana can be seen posing with the berry while giving smoldering looks in the episode.

Mode says, "Supermodel Adriana Lima has been in on this trendy tropical treasure from the beginning, devouring the delish Tico berry on her grandfather's farm as a young girl. The Brazilian beauty insists that this rare fruit, indigenous to her home country and known primarily by locals, is the sweet secret behind her success."

The fictitious article says scientists have their doubts about the power of the berry. A chemist working at one of the world's top cosmetic companies tells Mode, "I just don't see how one ingredient, whether it's fruit, vegetable, animal or mineral could be singularly responsible for beauty. There really is no magic bullet."
