Still from kidnapping Mr. Heineken

Anthony Hopkins is simply outstanding in the trailer for the film Kidnapping Mr. Heineken. The film is based on the true story of three young men who decided to kidnap the wealthiest man in the Netherlands: Alfred "Freddy" Heineken.

The irascible grandson of the founder of the famous Dutch beer, Heineken was kidnapped in 1983 in broad daylight and held for ransom. The young men had absolutely no idea who they were dealing with. Heineken was witty, smart and played on the kidnappers insecurities. The huge ransom was paid, much to the surprise of the kidnappers. After they manage to pull off the kidnapping of the century, things really got complicated.

The three childhood friends who band together for the audacious kidnapping are played by Sam Worthington (Avatar), Jim Sturgess (Cloud Atlas, Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) and Dutch actor Mark van Eeuwen. Jemima West (The Mortal Instruments) also stars in the thriller. The film was directed by Daniel Alfredson, the Swedish director of The Girl Who Played With Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, the sequels to the original film version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

William Brookfield wrote the screenplay which is based on the book by Peter R. de Vries, which was a major bestseller in the Netherlands. The film is set for release on March 6th in theater and on demand. Take a look:
