Avengers Sequel Announced at Comic-Con: Avengers: Age Of Ultron

The Avengers sequel was announced today at Comic-Con. It is Avengers: Age Of Ultron. The official logo was also revealed. Joss Whedon will write and direct the film. It will arrive in theaters on May 1, 2015.

Marvel defines Ultron as a "criminally insane rogue sentient robot dedicated to conquest and the extermination of humanity." The sentient robot was initially created by genius Dr. Henry Pym when he was experimenting with artificial intelligence.

"Age of Ultron" is also the name of a 10-issue series from Marvel.
