Canadian Fisherman Captures Rare Electric Blue Lobster

A rare electric blue lobster was found on Prince Edward Island's north shore on Wednesday. The Globe and Mail reports that Blair Doucette, the fisherman who caught the electric blue lobster, will donate it to a local aquarium. You can see a good photograph of the blue lobster here on CBC. CBC says only one in four million lobsters is blue. The unusual coloring is the result of a genetic mutation.

There was another blue lobster, named Deacon Blue, caught in 2009 in Bourne, MA. Here is a video of that lobster, which was also donated to an aquarium. Take a look:
