A Gummy Bear Bed has been made using 26,135 gummy bears. Different colored Gummy Bears were used to create a colorful pattern on the bed. The design was inspired by an Alexander Mcqueen dress.

The bed, called the Summerfield Gummy Bear Bed, was built by Craig's Beds, to help raise money for Alzheimer's research. An auction of the bed will raise money for The Mount Sinai Center for Cognitive Health in NYC. The bed is currently on display at the IT'Sugar candy store in Manhattan.

Hissa Igarashi, a stylist and editor-in-chief at Twelv, an online fashion magazine, helped design the bed. Igarashi says, "I put together a team who worked tirelessly for 4 weeks straight to complete the bed with a total of 26,135 gummy bears!"

At least 500 gummy bears were consumed during the creation of the bed. Craig's Bed has more about the creation of the bed here. Here is a video about the Gummy Bear Bed.
