Posted on August 11, 2007

A Lollapalooza performance by Pearl Jam was censored in an AT&T webcast. The part where lead singer Eddie Vedder sang about President George Bush was muted by AT&T. Vedder was reportedly muted just as he launched into a lyric against President George Bush.

Vetter sand, "George Bush, leave this world alone" and "George Bush find yourself another home."

Pearl Jam gave the following statement regarding the censorship, "What happened to us this weekend was a wake up call, and it's about something much bigger than the censorship of a rock band."

Save the Internet posted this video clip of the censorship on YouTube.
