Vertical Marathon Race in Beijing

Over 600 vertical marathon runners race in the tallest building in Beijing. The exhausting race included 2,041 steps. Thomas Dold from Germany was the winner with a time of 9 minutes and 55 seconds.

Dodd said, "To climb here, 330 metres altitude and 2,041 steps, that is really absolute outstanding and really very high competitive race here. If you compare maybe to other races, it is really one of the tallest and most heaviest buildings to race, and so that makes me very glad to win here."
