Singer-songwriter Charli XCX channeled Josie and the Pussycats on the red carpet for the 2014 VMAs. Charli wore a yellow and black tiger print Moschino jumpsuit which featured cut outs at the midriff, a yellow belt and black high heeled sandals. She carried a colorful clutch with black stars on it by Vivienne Westwood.

Charli perfomed her single "Boom Clap" during the pre-show. The song is from the soundtrack for the film, The Fault in Our Stars. She is nominated for Video of the Year, Best Female Video, and Best Pop Video for "Fancy" with Iggy Azalea. She's also nominated for Artist to Watch for the "Boom Clap" music video.

Charli tweeted on the red carpet about her tiger jumpsuit. She says, "dressed as a tiger on the red carpet at the vmas.... duh ?! why wouldn't i?!"

Charli was interviewed about her outfit by Rachel Antonoff on the red carpet. She revealed that she was not wearing a bra or underwear with it. Charli says she rarely wears underwear. She said she had her scalp colored in with a Sharpe because she has a "super white scalp."

Charli's second album will be called Sucker. It will be released on October 21st. Her next single is called "Break The Rules," which somehow seems appropriate.
