Patrick Wilson and Jessica Biel Star in the First Trailer for A Kind of Murder

Patrick Wilson and Jessica Biel star in the first trailer for the noir psychological thriller A Kind of Murder, which is based on Patricia Highsmith's 1954 novel The Blunderer. Wilson plays Walter Stackhouse, a successful architect in the 1960s who is unhappily married to the neurotic Clara (Jessica Biel).

Stackhouse's troubles start when he becomes obsessed with a local murder mystery in which a husband is suspected of killing his wife. He also cheats on his wife with a beautiful young woman (Haley Bennett). So when Clara turns up dead in a manner similar to the unsolved murder, Stackhouse is in hot water. Vincent Kartheiser stars as Detective Lawrence Corby, a homicide detective who is out to nail Stackhouse for the murder of his wife.

Patricia Highsmith's novels have been the source for such film as The Talented Mr. Ripley, Strangers On A Train and Carol, and the trailer id quite stylish. The film will hit theaters on December 16th. It will also be available on demand. Take a look:
