Paul Walker Stars in First Furious 7 Trailer

Here is the first trailer for Furious 7 starring Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Ludacris and Michelle Rodriguez. Before the film was finished shooting Paul Walker died in a terrible car crash unrelated to the film.

His death devastated the cast and crew and there was talk at the time of shelving the film. But eventually the studio and Paul's family decided to finish the film. Paul's brothers Caleb and Cody helped fill in for him in a few scenes that had not yet been shot. But Most of Paul's scenes are intact in the film.

In this installment of the popular action franchise, Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) is determined to seek revenge against Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) for the death of his brother Owen Shaw. Owen was the big villain in the previous film. In this trailer we see some incredible action footage as the team parachutes out of an airplane while in their cars. It's pretty amazing.

The cast gathered this past weekend to premiere the trailer and to talk about the film and its late star, Paul Walker. At an event sponsored by E!, Vin explained, "The biggest objective was to honor my brother Paul Walker and his legacy....When you think of family, you think of Fast & Furious. We lost such a special person, a special angel ... and [Paul] allowed for us to have a multicultural brotherhood and family."

The film was directed by James Wan and also stars Jordana Brewster and Tyrese Gibson. The film's name was changed to Furious 7. The film will be released on April 3, 2015. If the film is even half as good as this trailer it's going to be simply amazing. We can't wait to see more. Take a look:
