Syfy Greenlights Time Travel Thriller Called Rewind

Syfy announced it has greenlit a two-hour pilot to the action thriller Rewind from BermanBraun and Universal Cable Productions. The company also produces the hit Syfy series, Alphas.

The thriller revolves around a team of military field operatives and civilian scientists who use untested technology to travel back in time to alter past events in order to change the future and prevent a devastating terrorist attack.

Justin Marks wrote the pilot and will executive produce with Tom Spezialy, Gail Berman, Lloyd Braun and Gene Stein. Rewind is set to begin production in April 2012.
