Wonder Woman Saves Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Trailer

Posted on December 3, 2015

Wonder Woman and Lex Luthor makes their debut in the first full trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) is at a gala as a reporter for The Daily Planet and he meets Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) outside the event thanks to Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg). The two immediately dislike each other, and that's just the beginning.

Clark asks Bruce for his opinion on the Bat Vigilante and Bruce is not pleased. He fires back a barb about Superman. Bruce snarks, "Maybe it's the Gotham City in me. We just have a bad history with freaks dressed like clowns." Oh, snap.

The two superheroes finally come to blows in a match that Batman's people keep telling him he simply cannot win. They are busy slugging it out when a real villain appears -- Doomsday. The giant rock looking creature, created from General Zod's corpse by Lex Luthor, fires an energy beam right at Batman who is pretty much toast at this point.

Except that he isn't. Wonder Woman steps in to save the day, shielding Batman from the deadly beam. A puzzled Superman says to Batman, "She with you?," Batman, equally puzzled, fires back, "I thought she was with you." Wonder Woman has no lines in the trailer, but she certainly looks fierce. The film was directed by Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300). It also stars Jena Malone as Barbara Gordon, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Thomas Wayne, Jason Momoa as Arthury Curry/Aquaman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Jeremy Irons as Alfred. The film hits theaters on March 25, 2016. Take a look:
