John Carter

John Carter is based on the series by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The film tells the story of former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he quickly becomes embroiled in a serious conflict amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). The survival of Barsoom and its people rests in Carter's hands.
