After Earth

Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his father Cypher (Will Smith) become stranded on Earth after a crash landing. This is not our Earth but a futuristic Earth 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humans to escape the plant. Cypher is critically injured so Kitai must embark on a journey to signal for help. On his journey he will face Earth's evolved animal species that now rule the planet as well as a fearsome alien creature that escaped during the crash.
