Britney Spears and Jason Trawick Get Steamy in New Criminal Video

Britney Spears just released the new video for her single "Criminal" and it is fabulous. Britney looks amazing -- and really comfortable with what she's doing. The video opens with Britney at an upscale cocktail party in London with an abusive boyfriend.

Britney escapes to the bathroom to put on some of her new fragrance (now you knew there would be a perfume ad placement here) and goes back to the party. Her creepy boyfriend punches her (!) but then her "criminal" boyfriend (real life boyfriend Jason Trawick) steps and decks him. Britney runs off with him. For reasons that are unclear, she decides to pull a gun on the mini-mart clerk, which sets off a Bonnie and Clyde action sequence.

The video has scenes of Britney singing in alley, and making out with Jason naked in a shower. When the police show up, they kiss while bullets fly around them. It's like a fantasy -- because they escape unscathed. It's over the top and it's awesome. Britney got a lot of grief in the British press for filming this after the London riots, but honestly we weren't really looking at the guns much. Only Britney.
