Trailer for 47 Ronin Starring Keanu Reeves and Rinko Kikuchi

Here is the trailer for 47 Ronin, an action fantasy starring Keanu Reeves as a Samurai in a fantasy version of Japan. The film is based on a true story which became a legend about 47 Samurai who set out to get revenge for the death of their master at the hands of an evil overlord. The 47 masterless Samurai, or ronin, must go on an epic journey to fulfill their obligations under bushido, the code of honor of the Samurai.

Keanu plays an exiled half-breed slave who joins the ronin on their quest. There have been many fictionalized versions of the legend in Japanese, but this is the first English film version of the tale. The film is directed by Carl Rinsch and co-stars Rinko Kikuchi (Pacific Rim), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine and Tadanobu Asano (Thor: the Dark World). The film is set for release on December 25, 2013. Take a look:
