Posted on August 18, 2012
He's back -- as a leading man. Arnold Schwarzenegger co-stars in The Expendables 2, but in The Last Stand, he's the star.
Arnold plays an ex-LAPD narcotics cop, who left the force after an operation went horribly wrong. He takes a job as a small-town sheriff in the border town called Sommerton Junction. When drug kingpin Gabriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega) escapes from FBI custody, the little town becomes the center of a border war. The action thriller also stars Forest Whitaker, Rodrigo Santoro, Johnny Knoxville, Jaimie Alexander, Zach Gilford, and Genesis Rodriguez. The film will be released on January 18, 2013. Take a look:
