Justin Bieber to Attend Anger Management Program as Result of Egging Plea Deal

Justin Bieber entered into a plea deal to avoid a felony vandalism charge and possible jail time over an egging incident in January. Bieber was accused of throwing eggs at his neighbor's home in Calabasas and causing thousands of dollars in damage.

The L.A. Times reports that Bieber entered a plea of no-contest to a misdemeanor vandalism charge as part of the deal. Bieber had his attorneys enter the no contest plea. He did not attend court in person. His penalties include a hefty $80,900 restitution charge as well as five days of community service. He will also have to attend an anger management program, however it is not known how long the program lasts.

Bieber will also be on probation for two years, which could be a problem for him if he cannot stay out of trouble. He has also been ordered by the court to stay away from his Calabasas neighbors, which should not be difficult since he sold his Calabasas home to Khloe Kardashian in February. The young pop star will need to refrain from egging any of his future neighbors. He may want to consider avoiding the purchase of eggs if he finds he simply cannot resist to impulse to hurl them at homes.

Bieber told Entertainment Tonight in a statement, "Justin is glad to get this matter resolved and behind him. He will continue to move forward focusing on his career and his music."
