Jennifer Lopez and James Corden Sing, Text Leonardo DiCaprio During Carpool Karaoke
Posted on April 1, 2016
James Corden (or J. Co) as he calls himself now, had a prime time special and did a spectacular version of Carpool Karaoke with Jennifer Lopez. J Lo is just so cool, she would be a blast to ride around with. There were many outstanding moments during the epic ride.
James hit her with the tough questions right off the top, demanding to know if she really has her rear end insured for $25 million. Jennifer laughed and said she does not have any body parts insured, and doesn't even know why you would do such a thing: it's not like her butt is going to disappear or be stolen. Although she did point out that some insurers in England will insure body parts.
The questions only got more intense after that, but none of it fazed J.Lo in the slightest. He asked her What is the youngest guy she's ever dated, demanding specific ages: 19? 20? She just laughed and shrugged. He wanted to know about her most romantic moments, which led dto a discussion of her very romantic marriage proposals. She has had five marriage proposals, three marriages. He wanted to know how you turn down a marriage proposal and she replied, "You just say no. No this isn't right."
They harmonized to Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven." She talked about her Spanish album and they sang a bit of a lead single on the album which was quite dramatic. They had to pull over so he could learn her music video dance moves, which was simply hilarious.
Then he got a peek at her phone and demanded to know what famous people were in her phone contacts. He scrolled through her contacts, reading some out, such as Fergie, Iggie Azalea, Demi Lovato, Bradley Cooper, Cristiano Ronaldo, and The Rock. He asked if he could send one person a text and naturally he picks recent Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio.
He tweeted (as Jennifer), "Hey baby, I'm kinda feelin' like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know. -J Lo" (you know, from the Block) She didn't believe he would actually send it, but he did. She kept saying "I'll have to explain this!" And what's funnier is that Leo texted back the perfect response, "You mean tonight, Boo Boo -- Clubwise?" So, Leo calls JLo Boo Boo?? He was ready to ride to rescue from her boredom by hitting the clubs. We have no idea how James is going to top this. We don't think it can be done.
