Julia Louis-Dreyfus Plays Vice President in HBO's Veep

Seinfeld star Julia Louis Dreyfus plays former Senator Selina Meyer, who has accepted the call to serve as the new Vice President of the United States in HBO's Veep.

The comedy series follows Meyer and her staff as they attempt to make their mark and leave a lasting legacy, without getting tripped up in the day-to-day political games that define Washington. The pilot will air on April 22, 2012. Here is the first trailer for Veep. Take a look:
