Kelly Macdonald Talks Voicing Merida in Brave

Scottish actress Kelly Macdonald talked to ABC News about her role as the feisty heroine Merida in Disney-Pixar's new film, Brave. Kelly says Merida is like the anti-princess and she is very shocked when her mother tells her she has to choose between three suitors. Merida does not accept this. She says Merida and her mother are at completely different wavelengths.

Kelly says unlike Merida, she was no trouble when she was a teenager. She says, "I was a good girl and I really didn't have anything to rebel against."

She says she would have been in trouble if the film was live-action because she can't use a bow and arrow. She did get to play Merida in the new video game.
