Nick Carter, AJ McLean and 90s Boy Banders Fight Zombies in Dead 7 Trailer

Syfy has been kind of quiet on the original movie front since the last Sharknado movie. But now it's back with a trailer for Dead 7. The film is the creation of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys. He wondered (as have we all) what would happen if you took a group of 90s boy banders, stuck them in the Old West and had them fight bloodthirsty zombies?

The film stars Backstreet Boys members Nick Carter, A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough; O Town members Jacob Underwood, Dan Miller, Trevor Penick, Erik-Michael Estrada; 98 Degrees member Jeff Timmons; and Nsync members Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone. Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass and JC Chasez must have had pressing prior commitments and couldn't make the shoot, as did Nick and Drew Lachey.

The film also stars Lauren Kitt Carter (Nick Carter's wife), Carrie Keagan, Jeff Timmons, Debra Wilson, Chloe Lattanzi, Frenchie Davis, Dylan Vox and Jon Secada. The trailer gives us Joey Fatone as the mayor of the town that is beset by zombies, as well as some shots of the zombies and general mayhem.

The film debuts on Syfy on Friday, April 1, at 8 pm Eastern time and no, we don't think it's an April Fools joke. Take a look:
