Real Steel Wins Weekend Box Office

Real Steel, starring Hugh Jackman and Evangeline Lilly, easily won this weekend's box office. The upbeat robot boxing drama took in over $27 million. Hugh Jackman trained with Sugar Ray Leonard for his role. The Ides of March, a political drama starring George Clooney and Ryan Goslin, finished in second and made $10.4 million.
Dolphin Tale slipped to third but made another $9 million to bring its total box office gross to near $50 million. Brad Pitt's Moneyball baseball flick came in fourth. It was followed by 50/50, Courageous, The Lion Kind (3D) and Dream House.
