Here is the trailer for the fantasy adventure Seventh Son starring Ben Barnes, Kit Harrington, Jeff Bridges, Djimon Hinsou and Julianne Moore.

Ben Barnes plays Thomas, who is the seventh son of a seventh son. He is sent to be an apprentice to the local Spook Master Gregory (Jeff Bridges). Master Gregory informs Tom that he is a member of an ancient order of knights who fight evil spirits in order to keep the world safe. The training to be a Spook is long and hard, and many do not make the cut.

When the dangerous witch Mother Malkin (Julianne Moore) escapes, Tom will go face to face with evil. Djimon Hounsou is Radu who is pretty scary looking in his dragon form. And although the Master tells him to kill any witch he sees, you know a young attractive one will tell Tom that witches aren't all bad.

The film has been in limbo for a couple of years. It was actually filmed in 2012 and was supposed to be released in early 2013. The released date kept getting pushed back for various reason, including the business split between Warner Bros and Legendary. The stars even showed up at Comic-Con last year to promote it. But now the film will be released in February, 2015, three years after production began.

The film was directed by Sergey Bodrov and is based on The Spook’s Apprentice, one of the titles in Joseph Delaney's popular young adult series. Julianne Moore's portrayal of an Evil Queen predated Angelina Jolie's Maleficent by several years actually. It will be interesting to see how the performances stack up. Take a look:
