Trailer for The Amanda Knox Story

Actress Hayden Panettiere stars in The Amanda Knox Story, a Lifetime movie about American exchange student Amanda Knox, who was convicted of mudering Meredith Kercher by an Italian court. Amanda Knox's muder conviction is currently up on appeal.
Sky News reports that Mrs. Kercher, mother of murder victim Meredith Kercher, says, "I haven't seen the film or the video but it sounds shocking. I really don't understand how a film can be made when there is an appeal to be heard."
Lawyers for Amanda Knox are also very unhappy about the film being made. Here is the trailer for the controversial film. The movie will air on Lifetime on February 21 at 9 PM est. Take a look:
