Avengers 2 Set for May 1, 2015

Deadline reports that a date of May 1, 2015 has been set for the Avengers 2 movie. Several other Marvel super hero films will come before The Avengers sequel. They include Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy.

This should give Whedon, who recently signed a new deal with Marvel, enough time to make the new movie without having to rush. The deal locks Whedon up with Marvel through June 30, 2015. It also includes a live action TV show with ABC set in the Marvel universe.
