Drax Offers Star-Lord a Hug in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Teaser

The first teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 dropped today and it looks like the second film will be just as fun as the first one. Director James Gunn is helming the sequel, which is good news. This trailer features the song "Hooked On A Feeling" by Blue Swede. Hey, Star Lord only has a cassette he took from Earth in the 1970s, so his musical taste is a bit behind the times.

The first film was a surprise monster hit. After all, the characters were really the least known in the Marvelverse. But the top notch writing, directing and casting made this the little superhero film that could. In this teaser we see Drax (Dave Bautista) taliking to Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt). Drax explains that there are two kinds of people: those that dance and those that don't. He also offers Peter a hug as he pines over Gamora (Zoe Saldana), which Peter insists he doesn't need (of course he does).

The film also stars Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Kurt Russell, Sylvester Stallone, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close and Chris Sullivan. Nathan Fillion is listed as playing Simon Williams /Wonder Man, which is certainly exciting. The film is set for a May 5, 2017 global release. Take a look:
