Jane Seymour Stars in American Girl Movie

Actress Jane Seymour (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) stars in a new movie from Universal Studios Home Entertainment called An American Girl: Saige Paints the Sky. The movie bring American Girl's 2013 Girl of the Year, Saige Copeland, to life. The film will be available on DVD and Blu-ray on July 2, 2013.

The film tells the story of Saige, a talented 9-year-old artist with a passion for horse. Saige is excited about the new school year until she discovers that art - her favorite class- has been cut. She also finds her best friend, Tessa, spending more and more time with another girl. For support, Saige turns to her grandma Mimi (Seymour), a well-known artist and horsewoman, who inspires her to take action.

American Girl is also launching products along with the film, including Saige's Tunic Outfit and Picnic Set, a Saige mini doll, and Saige's Punch Design Frame.
