Love the Way You Lie Video Starring Dominic Monaghan and Megan Fox

Here is the new video based on Eminem and Rihanna's song "Love the Way You Lie." The video stars Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan, and tells the story of a substance abuse and domestic violence filled relationship and its sad ending. It's a sad story that Eminem says is based on his relationship with his ex-wife Kim.
After seeing the video, it's obvious why Rihanna didn't want to star in it, having been the victim of domestic violence herself. She told Access Hollywood that the song hits a little too close to home for her.
"It's something that, you know, we've both experienced, you know, on different sides, different ends of the table...It just was authentic. It was real. It was believable for us to do a record like that, but it was also something that needed to be done, and the way he did it was so clever. He pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence, and it's something that a lot people don't have a lot of insight on, so this song is a really, really powerful song, and it touches a lot of people."
Dominic and Megan do a fantastic job. The music video was shot in Los Angeles and directed by Joseph Kahn.
Eminem says about the music video, "Joseph and I worked pretty closely together to make sure we got this right. Trying to make this tough subject work visually is a challenge. It was great to have Rihanna, Megan and Dominic on board for this ... they really brought it and made this video super-powerful."
