Nickelodeon Announces Animated Peter Rabbit Preschool Series

Nickelodeon has announced plans to bring Beatrix Potter's popular Petter Rabbit children's books to the TV screen. The animated preschool series will debut Tuesday, Feb. 19. The animation does appear to resemble the books based on the still image above.

The series follows the mischievous young Peter who desires to grow up to be just like his father. He carries his father's journal - a guide to everything you to need to know to be a good rabbit - with him wherever he goes. Peter's adventures include best friends Benjamin Bunny and Lily Bobtail.

Nick Jr. has launched a website with games, printables and other content to coincide with the new animated series.
