Trailer for Trance Starring James McAvoy, Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel

Here is the trailer for Trance, the new psychological thriller from director Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours) in which James McAvoy stars as Simon, a fine art auctioneer who helps steal a priceless Goya painting. During the heist he gets hit in the head and when he wakes up he realizes he has no idea where he hid the painting.

The gang's leader (Vincent Cassel) tortures Simon, but it doesn't help. So he hires a hypnotherapist (Rosario Dawson) to recover Simon's memory. What they find causes Simon to doubt everything he's been told, as the line blurs between reality and hypnotic suggestion. It's a great trailer: looks like another interesting film by Boyle. The film from Fox Searchlight debuts in the U.S. on April 5, 2013.
