SNL Skit: Motion Capture Starring Eli Manning, Jason Sudeikis and Taran Killam

Posted on May 6, 2012

"Motion Capture" was one of the funniest skits of the show. In this skit, producers are taping various football stars for a new Madden video game.

Each athlete has to wear a leotard with ping pong balls on it to film in front of a green screen. They each need to show a signature move after they make a touchdown. Taran Killam was great as Tim Tebow, who has the perfect touchdown celebratory move.

Eli Manning (the host that night) just couldn't seem to come up with a good celebratory gesture. The basketball dribble? The sandwich on the ground? We laughed out loud at the grenade throw -- especially when Eli let out a hilarious scared yelp (it was, after all, a live grenade he was pretending to throw). Jason Sudeikis, Bill Hader, Jay Pharoah, Kenan Thompson and Andy Samberg also star. Manning was really funny in this one:
