Joseph Tremblay and Kate Bosworth Star in Creepy Trailer for Before I Wake

If you like scary movies, this really is your year. Next up is a very interesting trailer called Before I Wake. Kate Bosworth and Thomas James play parents whose son has died. They adopt a young boy named Cody (Jason Tremblay) who seems very sweet and nice. But Cody has some issues.

When he dreams, his dreams come to life. When he's dreaming something happy they get to see their dead son. But when he has nightmares, they come to life too. And that's not fun at all. The parents must find out how and why Cody is able to do this and how to make it stop before his nightmares kill him all.

The film was directed by Mike Flanagan (Oculus) and also stars Annabeth Gish, Scottie Thompson, Dash Mihok and Jay Karnes. Flanagan objects to calling the film a horror film. He says its a fable or a film with supernatural elements. The trailer definitely looks like a horror film, but that doesn't mean much. Maybe these are the scariest scenes in the film...or maybe not. In any event, we like the premise and the acting looks good. Take a look:
