Katy Perry Talks to Ellen About Part of Me

Katy Perry stopped by the Ellen DeGeneres Show wearing a black dress with purple hair and lipstick. Katy also had large stars on her stockings.

Katy says she wanted to put everything into her upcoming film, Part of Me, including the imperfect stuff. She says the film is about the ride to stardom and what she went through to get there. She says she was dropped by three record labels along the way.

Katy says, "There was a lot of the word 'No' being sent my way, and I just never accepted that." Take a look:
