Here is the trailer for The Good Lie starring Reese Witherspoon. The drama is based on a true story about thee orphans from Sudan who are given the chance to emigrate to America. Reese plays the woman who signed on to help them find jobs, but ends up with a much bigger job acclimatizing them to a completely different culture and world. The film stars Ger Duany, Emmanuel Jal and Brit Arnold Oceng who are real life Sudanese "lost boys" themselves.

The Lost Boys was the name given to thousands of children orphaned by the civil war in Sudan that began in 1983. Fleeing horrors, they traveled hundreds of miles on foot to find safety. A humanitarian effort brought 3600 of these lost children to the U.S. to find new homes and a new life. But the assimilation process was difficult.

The film was written on by screenwriter Margaret Nagle who worked for ten years to finally get the story told. She finally found the financing and some big backers with Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and Molly Smith producing the film. The film will be released by Warner Bros. on October 3, 2014. Take a look:
