NBC Cancels The Playboy Club

NBC has quickly canceled The Playboy Club. The pilot for the show was interesting and the shots of Chicago in the 1960s were amazing. Actor Eddie Cibrian was also doing his best Don Draper, but the ratings did not hold up for the show.

The Chicago Tribune reports that the series debuted with 5 million viewers, but had slipped to just 3.4 million by episode 3. The cancellation was not good news for Chicago. The Tribune says 99.5% of the people working on the production side of show were Chicago workers.
