Jersey Shore in Italy Premiere Breaks Record With 8.8 Million Viewers

Deadline reports that the premiere of MTV's Jersey Shore based in Italy was extremely popular. The Season 4 premiere attracted 8.8 million total viewers and an 8.2 rating in persons 12-34.

That makes this season premiere the most watched in the history of the show. It was the third most watched episode of the series which has taken on a life beyond MTV. Sooki in Florence apparently equals ratings gold.
