Anna Faris to Star in Private Benjamin Remake

Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Anna Faris is slated to star in a remake of Private Benjamin. She's pictured above in a still from House Bunny The contemporary take on the Private Benjamin plot will most likely be written by Amy Talkington and produced by Mark Gordon.
Anna Faris was hilarious in The House Bunny and she seems perfect for the role. However, getting the plot of the comedy right will be complicated by the current wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
