CNET Reporter Kara Tsuboi Becomes Iron Woman
Posted on October 7, 2008
Iron Man was recently released on DVD and Blu-ray with several different versions. In the video below CNET says viewers should expect to find lots of behind-the-scenes footage of the making of this blockbuster on the DVD. Motion capture is one of the technologies used to make Iron Man.
CNET's Kara Tsuboi was lucky enough to get to try out playing Iron Man or "Iron Woman." She visited Industrial Light and Magic's San Francisco headquarters and slipped into a special spandex suit. Once in the suit Industrial Light and Magic's engineers helped transform Tsuboi into "Iron Woman." Pretty cool stuff. We remembering seeing this once on Conan O'Brien's show. He played a character called the Schwa when he was there.
